Essential Oil Red Tent: Sweetly Held

Red Tent Synergy  is a warming and spicy, fresh and floral essential oil synergy inspired by The Red Tent in Squamish BC. 

Sweetly Held 

INGREDIENTS: Cardamom: warming, spicy sweet, stimulating vitality & contentment

Rose Geranium: cooling, floral, strengthening receptivity

Bergamot: fresh, green, balancing, uplifting, relaxing & inspiring

Suggested Use: 5-7 drops in a diffuser, 30-40 drops in distilled water as a room spray.

Erica Otto and Heather Hendrie, co creators of the Red Tent in Squamish invited all self-identifying female sisters, to be seen and witnessed, offering an opportunity to be photographed. Participants were adorned in red chiffon, and accompanied by female pillars of support, holding their backs. Many beautiful moments were captured by Brian Aikens. This enriching community experience of the Divine Feminine, has produced a treasure trove of enchanting photographs. While we were held in community by each other, we were also "Sweetly Held" by the Red Tent Synergy. 

The red tent is a metaphorical place where women come together to create community. It is a container, a relationship. Something culture has forgotten; it is a circle, a spiral, an experience, and discussion. When women come together and hear each other's stories hold one another up in coherence and grace we create road maps to infinite ways of being, possibilities embodied in a life lived.

It is an art and community event in three parts: 

• Photography ritual experience (January & February)

• Exhibit container at the Squamish Library (March 6-8th)

• Circle Discussion Group during international Women’s day (March 6-8th)
